| Content | Filgrastim is a drug that has been used successfully for cancer patients to stimulate the growth of the white blood cells | Oxaliplatin is a platinum based chemotherapy agent used to treat carcinoma of the colon or rectum or stage III colon cancer. | Filgrastim injection is used to treat neutropenia (low white blood cells) that is caused by cancer medicines. It is a synthetic (man-made) form of a substance that is naturally produced in your body called a colony stimulating factor. Filgrastim helps the bone marrow to make new white blood cells. | A combination of Furosemide and Amiloride is a diuretic which reduces the potassium loss of furosemide alone while avoiding the possible gastro-intestinal disturbances of potassium supplements.
| Amlodipine is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure in adults and children 6 years and older. It is also used to treat certain types of angina (chest pain) and coronary artery disease (narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart) | Nystatin is an antifungal medicine and not an antibiotic. It makes holes in the cell membrane of the fungus and the contents leak out. This kills the fungus and treats the infection. If you're taking nystatin to prevent an infection, the medicine kills any fungus as it starts to appear.
