| Content | omeprazole is used to treat frequent heartburn (heartburn that occurs at least 2 or more days a week) in adults. Omeprazole is in a class of medications called proton-pump inhibitors. | Nystatin is an antifungal medicine and not an antibiotic. It makes holes in the cell membrane of the fungus and the contents leak out. This kills the fungus and treats the infection.
