| Content | It is used mainly for its action on skeletal muscle and less frequently to increase the activity of smooth muscle. Neostigmine is used in the treatment of Myasthenia Gravis. Neostigmine is a quaternary ammonium compound and is poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.
| Famotidine is used to prevent and treat heartburn due to acid indigestion and sour stomach caused by eating or drinking certain foods or drinks.
| Promethazine is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions (such as before/after surgery, motion sickness). It is also used to treat allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose. It may be used to help you feel sleepy/relaxed before and after surgery or to help certain opioid pain relievers (such as meperidine) work better.
