ContentDocetaxel is a taxoid antineoplastic agent used in the treatment of various cancers, such as locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, metastatic prostate cancer, gastric adenocarcinoma, and head and neck cancer.Oxaliplatin is a platinum based chemotherapy agent used to treat carcinoma of the colon or rectum or stage III colon cancer.Gemcitabine is a cytidine analog with two fluorine atoms. As a prodrug, gemcitabine is transformed into its active metabolites that work by replacing the building blocks of nucleic acids during DNA elongation, arresting tumour growth and promoting apoptosis of malignant cells.Topotecan is an antineoplastic agent used to treat ovarian cancer, small cell lung cancer, or cervical cancer. Oxaliplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy drug in the same family as cisplatin and carboplatin. It is typically administered in combination with fluorouracil and leucovorin in a combination known as Folfox for the treatment of colorectal cancer. Compared to cisplatin the two amine groups are replaced by cyclohexyldiamine for improved antitumour activity. The chlorine ligands are replaced by the oxalato bidentate derived from oxalic acid in order to improve water solubility.Protein-bound paclitaxel, also known as nanoparticle albumin- bound paclitaxel or nab paclitaxel, is an injectable formulation of paclitaxel used to treat breast cancer, lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer, among others.
