| Content | " Mebeverine is an antispasmodic used for the symptomatic treatment of stomach pain and spasms associated with irritable bowel syndrome and other gastrointestinal illnesses." | Nystatin is an antifungal medicine and not an antibiotic. It makes holes in the cell membrane of the fungus and the contents leak out. This kills the fungus and treats the infection. If you're taking nystatin to prevent an infection, the medicine kills any fungus as it starts to appear.
