Local anaesthetics stop pain and feeling in the area around where it is injected; and antiarrhythmic drugs work by restoring irregular and/or rapid heart beats to normal. | Cytarabine is a medication used in the management and treatment of leukemias and lymphomas. It belongs to the antimetabolic group of medications. This activity reviews the indications, action, and contraindications for cytarabine as a valuable agent in treating acute myeloid leukemia (and other leukemias. | Promethazine is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions (such as before/after surgery, motion sickness). It is also used to treat allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose.
