| Content | Tazobactum is a beta lactamase inhibitor administered with antibiotics such as piperacilin to prevent their degradation resulting in increased efficacy. | Moxifloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infections. Antibiotics such as moxifloxacin will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections. | Cefixime is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as bronchitis (infection of the airway tubes leading to the lungs); gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease); and infections of the ears, throat, tonsils, and urinary tract.
