Description

Paclitaxel is a taxoid chemotherapeutic agent used as first line and subsequently therapy for treatment of advanced carcinoma of the ovary and other cancers, including breast and lung cancer . PTX binds to microtublues instead of tubulin dimers and stabilizes microtubules by promoting the assembly of alpha and beta tubulin subunits,the building blocks of microtubules.
