| Content | Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, also known as co-amoxiclav or amox-clav, sold under the brand name Augmentin, among others, is an antibiotic medication used for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. | Vancomycin is a glycopeptide antibiotic used to treat severe but susceptible bacterial infections such as MRSA (methicillin-resitant staphylococcus aureus) infrctions. | Moxifloxacin is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It works by killing the bacteria that cause infections. Antibiotics such as moxifloxacin will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections. | "Metronidazole Benzoate is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by a wide range of anaerobic, protozoan and bacteroid bacteria, including trichomoniasis, amebiasis, vaginosis and gingivitis."
